Obituaries : Bryce “Buck” E. England

Bryce "Buck" E. England, 81, of Cedar Rapids, IA was taken home to be with his Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ on January 26, 2021 at his home.

Buck was born January 7, 1940 to Leota and William "Ed" England in Bowling Green, MO. He graduated from Belle Plaine High School. Buck was class president and captain of his basketball team that played in the state championship.

He met the love of his life, Judith Ann Hutchins in high school and they were married for 59 years. Buck worked for the City of Cedar Rapids in the Engineering Department for 35 years. He was a member of the Cowboy Church in Walford, IA and was a spirit filled, born again Christian. He was an avid golfer and rarely missed an Iowa Hawkeye basketball or football game. He had a heart of love for everyone and everything.

Buck is survived by his wife, Ann; daughters, Angela Fogle, Lorrie (Gordon) Jones and Paula (Christian) Frantz; 5 grandchildren, Megan (James) Teel, Katie (Jeff) Wyssenbach, Benjamin (Haley) Fogle, Luke and Lily Frantz; 4 great-grandchildren, Hudson, Mikhail, Madelyn, and Isaac; brother, Harold (Janice) England; sisters, Janet Tietge and Leni Brandt along with many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Buck was the kindest, most loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Service is 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 1, 2021 at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service Belle Plaine. With visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Belle Plaine.
