Dear Editor,

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing"

46 years ago, our country passed a law that legalized the killing of babies.

I don't care how old the baby is, it's still a baby. Dr. Seuss probably would have all kinds of crazy mobs coming after him had he written: "Horton Hears a Who" now and not in 1954.

This line in his book sums up my feelings exactly and I think most moms that have carried a baby feel the same way. "Even though you can't see or hear them at all, a person's a person, no matter how small."

Now we can see them before they're born, we have ultrasounds available and most moms want to see their baby before it's born.

We can hear their little hearts beat at 8 weeks, usually about the time you suspect that you're pregnant.

It pains me to see women cheering because they can now kill a baby mere minutes before the first cry.

New York just changed the law to one of the most barbaric versions of Roe vs. Wade. Yes, you can now have your child killed while you are in labor if you choose.

Try to imagine how that's done.

Do they not think that an inch or two from daylight changes what a baby feels?

People become crazy over the idea of putting a dog down with an injection, that's why we have "no kill shelters".

These are the same people that become livid if you tell them that they cannot kill a child.

What is wrong with our society when a dog is more important than a human being?
