The girls' basketball teams in both Vinton-Shellsburg and Benton Community have been in a nail-biting competitions all season. Vinton Shellsburg girls' team beat Grinnell at Grinnell by nine points in a final score of 52-43. Not being left out, Benton Community girls took West Liberty in a 53-44 on their own court in Van Horne.The Well Fargo Arena in Des Moines will be the next chance for the 3A class, to show their best games.
