Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A choice of salads are available Monday – Friday on site.

Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse (regardless of age) is $3.25 for the meal. Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $4.25 for their meal. If you are just coming for the activity, the suggested contribution is $1.00. Carryout meals are available. We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.50/meal if you are 60 or older. For those under age 60, the suggested contribution is $4.25 for home delivered meals. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County. Please call by 10:00 AM daily to cancel a Home Delivered Meal. For more information about services, please call 319-472-4761, or to reserve a table for groups of three or more. Please help us recruit more people to join the 4th St Diner Meal program. All contributions are used toward the continued operations of the meal site.

Each month the 4th St Diner has a special day set aside to celebrate birthdays for that month. It is always scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month. Anyone having a birthday for that particular month is encouraged to make a reservation for themselves and any guests they would like to celebrate with. The names of all birthday celebrants who have made a reservation for the Birthday Table are entered into the door prize drawing. We currently have two door prizes scheduled for each month. The first is $5 in Vinton Unlimited Value Dollars generously donated by Vinton Unlimited. The second is a gift certificate for a free 4th Street Diner meal. Reservations for the Birthday Dinner table can be made by calling 472-4761. Reservations need to be made by 10:00 AM on the day of the celebration.

The 4th Street Diner meal on Sunday, August 17th, will be Roast Beef, Parslied Potatoes, Broccoli/Cheese Sauce, Mixed Green Salad, Peach Crisp, WW Bread, and Milk.

On Monday, May 19th, games of Pepper Cards were played. Bill Milne took 1st place with 309 points. Hazel Eastwood took 2nd place with 282 points. Greta Geiken won 3rd place with 272 points. After the card games, refreshments were provided by the Card Club. HACAP furnished the beverages.

On Tuesday, May 20th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Maureen Haisman was the volunteer caller. Marion Isbell handpicked the games. Game one was a 9-Pack with JoAnn

Roster winning. Game two was Four Corners with Hazel Eastwood winning. Game three was Wild Number Three Bingos with Oma Geiger, Norma Ellis and Viola Catert winning. Game four was a Baseball with George Eckhart and JoAnn Rosters winning. George Eckhart won game five with Blackout.

On Wednesday, May 21st, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Heather Bridge was the volunteer caller. Mae Wilhelmi handpicked the games. Game one was Frame the Card with George Eckhart winning. Game two was a 9-pack with Mae Wilhelmi winning. Game three was a Wild Number Three Bingos with Marion Isbell and Lorraine Fix as the winners. Game four was Double Bingo with Marion Isbell winning. Lorraine Fix won game five with a Blackout.

On Thursday, May 22nd, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Vickie Holst was the volunteer caller. George Eckhart handpicked the games. Game one was a 9-Pack with Norma Ellis winning. Game two was Stair Steps with Hazel Eastwood winning. Game three was Three Bingos with Jack Oliphant and Greta Geiken winning. Game four was a Postage Stamp with Marion Isbell as the winner. Norma Ellis won game five with a Blackout.

On Friday, May 23rd, the afternoon activity was a 500 Card Party. Leroy Weiser won 1st place with 3,350 points. Wilma Loutsch won 2nd place with 1,880 points. Bernadine Barr took 3rd place with 2,620 points. After the games, refreshments were served by the card club. HACAP provided the beverages.

On Tuesday, May 27th, the afternoon musical entertainment was provided by Bob Hauser Music.

On Wednesday, May 28th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller. Hazel Eastwood handpicked the games. Game one was Wild Card Three Bingos with Mae Wilhelmi winning. Game two was a 9-Pack with Hazel Eastwood as the winner. Game three was a Goal Post with Mae Wilhelmi winning. Game four was Stair Steps with Hazel Eastwood winning. Mae Wilhelmi won game five with a Blackout.

On Thursday, May 29th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Vickie Holst was the volunteer caller. Ruth Wieditz handpicked the games. Game one was a Goal Post with JoAnn Roster as the winner. Game two was Postage Stamps with Greta Geiken winning. Game three was Four Corners and Around the Free Space with Hazel Eastwood and Jack Oliphant winning. Game four was Wild Number Three Bingos with Greta Geiken winning. Norma Ellis and JoAnn Roster won game five with Blackout.

On Friday, May 30th, there were games of 500 cards played. Esther Novotny and Don Selken tied for 1st place with 3,750 points. Third place went to Wilma Loutsch with 3,500 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by the Card Club. Darlene Peters brought treats to share. HACAP provided the beverages.
