Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through
Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.
Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for
individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse
(regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals
who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for
their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver
meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn.
The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or
older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid
supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County.

Attn: When planning for the monthly birthday meals, you
are strongly encouraged to reserve your seats for the
birthday tables. All seats must be reserved by 10 AM on
the day of the birthday dinner.

The meal on Sunday, October 23rd will be Roast Pork,
Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Spinach, Peaches, Custard, WW
Bread, Milk.
On Monday, September 12th, the afternoon activity was a
Pepper Card Party with 4 tables of players. Geri Shaffer
won 1st place with 291 points. Esther Novotny won 2nd
place with 273 points. Clete Friedman won 3rd place with
246 points. After cards, refreshments were served by the
card club and HACAP provided the beverages.
On Tuesday, September 13th, we celebrated those with
September birthdays. Norma Ellis was the hostess for the
dinner. Those celebrating September birthdays were Norma
Ellis, Belva Dake, Jeanette Blazicek, Esther Novotny,
Evelyn Van Deusen, Maybeth Graham, and Evelene Neuendorf.
Evelene was the winner of the gift certificate for a free
meal. There were also 12 guests that were part of the
celebration. Stuart Gulick provided the afternoon musical
entertainment.
On Wednesday, September 14th, the afternoon activity was
10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Clete
Friedman and Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller.
Game one was a 9-Pack with Faye Goodell winning. Game
two was Wild Number 3 Bingos with Faye Goodell winning.
Game three was a Flag with Hazel Eastwood winning. Game
four was a Baseball with Evelyn Greenwood and Greta Geiken
winning. Mae Wilhelmi and Greta Geiken won game five with
blackout.
On Thursday, September 15th, the afternoon activity was
10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Delane Kalina
and Norma Ellis was the volunteer caller. Game one was
Stairsteps with JoAnn Roster as the winner. Game two was
a 9-Pack with Faye Goodell winning. Game three was a Flag
with JoAnn Roster as the winner. Game four was a Baseball
with Delane Kalina winning. Hazel Eastwood won game five
with blackout.
Friday, September 16th, there were 5 tables of 500 played.
Milt Smith won 1st place with 3,360 points. Leroy Weiser
won 2nd place with 2,940 points. Art Corbett won 3rd
place with 2,870 points. After the games, refreshments
were provided by the card club. HACAP provided the
beverages.
On Monday, September 19th, there were 4 tables of Pepper
Cards played. Irene Geiger won 1st place with 314 points.
Frances Kelly won 2nd place with 298 points. Annie
Hopkins won 3rd place with 268 points. After the games,
Esther Novotny brought a birthday cake to share. Other
refreshments were provided by Card Club. Beverages were
provided by HACAP.
On Tuesday, September 20th, the afternoon activity was
10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Marge
Goodell. Maureen Heisman was the volunteer caller. Game
one was a 9-Pack with Faye Goodell winning. Game two was
a Plus Sign with Clete Friedman winning. Game three was
Wild Number with Clete Friedman winning. Game four was a
Flag with JoAnn Roster winning. JoAnn Roster won game
five with blackout.
On Wednesday, September 21st, the afternoon activity was
10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Delane
Kalina. The volunteer caller was Wendy Pennington. Game
one was Wild Number Three Bingos with Faye Goodell
winning. Game two was a Baseball with Faye Goodell as the
winner. Game three was Stairsteps with Ruth Wieditz as
the winner. Game four a 12-Pack with Faye Goodell
winning. Greta Geiken, Mae Wilhelmi, and Jeanette
Blazicek won game five with blackout.
On Thursday, September 22nd, the afternoon activity was
10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Clete
Friedman. The volunteer caller was Vicki Holst. Game one
was Stairsteps with Elsie Knaack and Clete Friedman
winning. Game two was Wild Number Three Bingos with Elsie
Knaack and Frances Kelly as the winners. Game three was
two 6-Packs with JoAnn Roster as the winner. Game four
was a Flag with Marge Goodell winning. Jeanette Blazicek
won game five with blackout.
On Friday, September 23rd, five tables of 500 were played.
Nellie Cobb won 1st place with 3,120 points. Bud Barr
won 2nd place with 2,690 points. Geri Shaffer won 3rd
place with 2,640 points. After the games, refreshments
were provided by Card Club. Beverages were provided by
HACAP.
