Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County. On Monday, September 12th, the afternoon activity was a Pepper Card Party with 4 tables of players. Geri Shaffer won 1st place with 291 points. Esther Novotny won 2nd place with 273 points. Clete Friedman won 3rd place with 246 points. After cards, refreshments were served by the card club and HACAP provided the beverages. On Tuesday, September 13th, we celebrated those with September birthdays. Norma Ellis was the hostess for the dinner. Those celebrating September birthdays were Norma Ellis, Belva Dake, Jeanette Blazicek, Esther Novotny, Evelyn Van Deusen, Maybeth Graham, and Evelene Neuendorf. Evelene was the winner of the gift certificate for a free meal. There were also 12 guests that were part of the celebration. Stuart Gulick provided the afternoon musical entertainment.
