Families are invited to join the virtual East Central Iowa STEM Festival on Sunday, March 21. The festival is free and open to the public. Participants are required to pre-register to receive access to the virtual festival platform. Families can register at https://tinyurl.com/Y6RL7GJ4.

The goals of the festival are to promote, inspire and engage youth in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) activities and to introduce students and parents to STEM careers.

Virtual video sessions will feature interactive STEM activities for students and their families. All ages are welcome to attend. Attendees will learn to conduct amazing science experiments, learn about the latest medical technology, observe a variety of fascinating wildlife, use their rock star math skills for fun games, code robots, and much more!

The East Central Iowa STEM Festival is a community-wide partnership between Belle Plaine, Benton Community, English Valley, H-L-V, Iowa Valley, Vinton-Shellsburg and Williamsburg school districts and the Southeast Region of the Iowa Governor's STEM Advisory Council at the University of Iowa and Kirkwood Community College plus businesses and organizations from across the region.
