Benton County Conservation will be offering a workshop about birds. The class will be held on January 20, 2023 at the Beneton County Nature Center located at 5718 20th Ave. Dr., Vinton. The class begins at 9:00 a.m. and will run until 3:00 p.m. Cost is $10 per person. Come for the whole workshop or just a portion!
The schedule is as follows:
9-9:15 Introductions
9:15-10:45 Intro to bird ID (passerines) presentation
10:45-11:00 break and light snack
11:00-12:30 p.m. Birding hike
12:30-1:15 Lunch break on your own
1:15-2:45 Build your own bird feeder
2:45-3:00 wrap up and questions

Building Better Birders Workshop will be conducted by Kelly McKay (BioEco Research and Monitoring Center), with assistance from Mark Roberts (Clinton County Conservation), Brian Ritter and James Wiebler (Nahant Marsh Education Center).
