The Benton County Speedway will offer a Salute to Veterans during the races on Sunday, Sept. 15. Admission will be free for veterans, who will also parade around the race track before the races begin.
All area veterans are invited to attend, and to wear their military uniforms, if they wish to do so. Please RSVP to Janice Smith at 319-939-8325.
Veterans are asked to arrive before 4:30 p.m. for a meet-and-greet with race fans and children.
