Lee's lengthy history in the Iowa court system dates back to 2005. His latest charges were filed following an incident that began at approximately 3:47 a.m. on August 21st. Deputies responded to a call from a home located in the 3000 block of 58th St. It was reported that Lee had woken a woman and began arguing with her. He then pushed her onto a bed, holding a knife to her throat. He then attempted to duct tape her mouth closed while telling her not to move.

The woman was able to make her way into the kitchen before Lee once again pushed her down, causing her head to strike a kitchen cabinet. Again, he attempted to tape her mouth shut and took away her phone, and proceeded to block her from exiting the room. It is alleged that he then took her keys and threw them into the woods.

The victim reported that Lee had also threatened to kill her if she called the cops again, "so he had something to go to jail for."

Lee left the woman's home in a vehicle and was later located by the Iowa State Patrol as he was speed back toward the residence.

Upon approaching the vehicle, law enforcement found no keys in the car and the car appeared to be empty.

At 7:01 a.m., the suspect was finally located...in the trunk of the car, with the keys in his pocket.

He is now more comfortable in his new digs at the Benton County Jail where he is being held.
