Winner of American Legion Post 57 scholarship raffle is Vinton resident Nancy Jones. Each year the Almerican Legion Post 57 awards scholarships to Vinton-Shellsburg students. This year a 46-in HDTV was raffled to raise the money for the scholarships. The drawing was held Friday evening at the monthly fish fry at Post 57 with Auxiliary Junior Member Bailey Lyons drawing the winning entry. Pictured with winner Nancy Jones is Roger Uthoff who sold the winning ticket.
