Viking cross country 16th at the Hawk Invitational
MANCHESTER - The Vinton-Shellsburg Viking varsity cross country team competed at the Hawk Invitational at the Hawk Invitational at Hart Ridge Golf Course in Manchester and got 16th place.
Junior Elijah Blix finished 38th with a 17:50, Merritt Bodeker finished 77th, Aldin Swanson finished 80th, Eli Page finished 98th, Reese Truax ran a 20:23 for 116th, Zach Klopping ran a 125th and Max Janssen ran a 22:09 for 140th.
