Sports : Vinton-Shellsburg Vikettes take down Goliath at State 54-46

Vinton Vikettes win in a 54-46 game against Estherville!

Sports commentators continuously referred to Estherville Lincoln Central as "Goliath" in the game against Vinton-Shellburg. In true David form, the Vikettes gave Estherville a "come to Jesus" game.

Coming from behind, the Vikettes pulled a win out of the bag stomping the expected champions in a 54-46 win.

Should Benton Community Bobcats win their game against Des Moines Christian tonight (Monday) they will face Vinton-Shellsburg on Thursday, at 1:30 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Arena, in Des Moines...putting Benton County on the map!
