Vinton-Shellsburg High School is excited to announce the appointment of Patrick Horst as the new head coach for the cross-country team. Patrick Horst, a proud Vinton-Shellsburg graduate, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the position, having participated on state-qualifying cross-country teams during his time as a student.

In addition to his coaching role, Patrick Horst is the owner and operator of Horst Physical Therapy in Vinton, where he has built a reputation for excellence in physical health and sports training. His professional background and personal dedication to the sport make him an ideal fit for leading the Vinton-Shellsburg cross-country program.

"I am thrilled to return to Vinton-Shellsburg in this capacity," said Coach Horst. "Having been a part of the cross country program as a student, I know the dedication and hard work it takes to succeed. I look forward to mentoring our student-athletes and helping them achieve their personal bests both on and off the course."

The district is equally enthusiastic about Coach Horst's appointment, recognizing the unique skills and experience he brings to the table.
