ACT I o f Benton County is pleased to be performing the extraordinary story of Come From Away – the award winning musical about 7,000 passengers who were stranded in the tiny town of Gander, Newfoundland, following the events of September 11, 2001.

When the US airspace was closed following the attacks, 38 planes were forced to land unexpectedly in Gander.  The people of Gander opened their homes, their hearts, and their community to complete strangers.  What followed became a remarkable true story of compassion, friendship, humor, and humanity.

As we mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11, Come From Away reminds us that even in the darkest moments, there are stories of light.  The show is funny, moving, joyful, heartbreaking, and ultimately uplifting – a celebration of what can happen when people choose to come together.

The amazing ensemble cast – each of whom perform several characters – includes:

  • Diane (and others): KATIE STUELKE

  • Hannah (and others): ROSE MILLER
