Storey Kenworthy & Workspace Foundation for Giving Accepting Grant Applications

Storey Kenworthy & Workspace Foundation for Giving is pleased to announce that they are now accepting grant applications from eligible non-profit organizations. The application window remains open until August 31, 2023. A total of five grants, each amounting to $5,000, will be awarded to non-profit organizations whose initiatives resonate with Storey Kenworthy & Workspace’s fundamental philanthropic focuses, which include Abuse & Violence Prevention, Children & Education, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, and Mental Health Awareness & Services.

Fall Makes President's and Honors List at Iowa Central

Loras College Announces Spring 2023 Dean's List

 Madi Atkinson of Shellsburg was named to the Loras has Dean's List status for the 2023 spring semester. A student must earn a 3.5 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours to be recognized.Congratulations Madi!

Ellsworth Community College announces 2023 Spring Team Dean's List

Eighty-six students were named to the Spring 2023 (January to May) Dean's List at Ellsworth Community College. To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must have earned a minimum of 12 credit hours during the semester (a full-time class load) and had at least a 3.5 grade point average for the Spring 2023 semester. Part-time students are not included in this list.

Area student receives degree from UW-River Falls

 The following local residents were among 722 students receiving degrees from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls following commencement in May. Bachelor's degrees were awarded to 645 undergraduates, while 77 students received graduate degrees.  Area student Hannah Kress, received a Bachelor of Science, Animal Science, with Senior Merit honors.

Mount Mercy University students named to Spring 2023 Dean's List

The following students made Mount Mercy University's Spring 2023 Dean's List. UI students named to president's list for spring 2023 semester

More than 1,100 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa were named to the president’s list for the 2023 spring semester.The president’s list was established in the fall of 1983 to recognize academic excellence.University of Iowa undergraduates who achieve a grade point average (GPA; 4.0 is an A) of 4.0 in 12 semester hours or more of UI graded coursework and who have no “I” marks (incompletes) or “O” marks (no grade reported) on their records for two consecutive semesters (excluding summer session) are recognized by inclusion on the president’s list.
