Et cetera What We're Reading AND Watching!

Our Summer Family Read was 'Charlotte's Web' by E.B. White, and it sparked some great conversations!

Here are the one-sentence reviews from my kids:

My 8-year-old said, "The book was good and sad because of what happens to Charlotte at the end."

My 11-year-old said, "The book was inspiring because it was about not giving up and to keep trying."

After we finished reading 'Charlotte's Web,' we celebrated with a family movie night!

Did you know this year marks 20 years since the film 'Charlotte's Web' was released? I had forgotten just how incredible the cast is!

There were plenty of laughs, a few tears, and lots of comparisons between the book and the movie. It was the perfect way to wrap up our Summer Family Read and revisit the timeless story of friendship, kindness, and courage.
