Events and Activities Country Kitchen: Historic Iowa Farm Meals presentation August 30

On Sunday, August 30, at 2:00 p.m. “Country Kitchen: Historic Iowa Farm Meals,” show and tell by will be presented by Ann Cejka the Cedar Rapids Usher’s Ferry director.

She will share how a farm women’s “work was never done” including keeping the whole crew clean, clothed, and fed on the classic old self-sufficient Iowa farm.

The event is a free event and will be held at the Center Point Historical Society Depot Museum, 700 E. Washington, Center Point, Iowa.

The Museum, is featuring farming this year and is open, free on Sundays from 2-5:00 p.m. through the end of October.
