PASSPORT DAY AT THE BENTON COUNTY RECORDER’S OFFICE

MONDAY, AUGUST 3, 2026

10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

The Benton County Recorder’s Office is hosting a Passport Day in Vinton, Iowa, on

Monday, August 3, 2026 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm to provide passport information to US Citizens and to accept walk ins for passport applications for new and/or renewals.

We will have Passport Applications available for you to complete. Bring your current passport and/or birth certificate, driver’s license and a check for the fee to the US Dept. of State and either check, cash, debit or credit card for the fee to the Benton County Recorder. Please do not wear a white or camouflage shirt for the picture.

Currently passports are taking 4 to 6 weeks to process. To receive your passport within 2-3 weeks it can be expedited for an extra fee.

See you on the 3rd at your most convenient time!!!
