The Lil Racer Car Club held a memorable night for the fans at the Benton County Speedway Bullring last Sunday night. The weather turned out perfect as the club signed in 70 Lil Racers, making them eligible for our door prize drawings and our "Lil Racer of the Week".

We held our second, "Pay it Forward Night" and the lucky number this time was #65, meaning the 65th person through the gate AND the 65th driver to sign in at the pit shack BOTH received white envelopes where the club paid for their respective admission fee for the night. We plan to do this at least once a month, our way of thanking them for coming to the track.

It also was the night that our special guest, Dalles Mitchell Jacobus, was able to join us. A well-kept secret, fans knew that Dalles was coming for autographs. What they did not know was that Dalles was going to be performing his hit single, "We Wave", from a microphone in front of the scoring tower after the National Anthem! It was met with thundering applause after he finished, and then he signed autographs.

A donation bucket was placed on his table and 121.00 was donated by the fans of which he decided to MATCH. All donations are to be given to the kids of the Stead Family Children's Hospital, on behalf of the fans of Benton County Speedway.

Our Lil Racer of the Week was selected and Kenzi Ginther of Jesup was selected. She is the daughter of Justin Ginther. Another club update later in the week.
