VINTON:  Virginia (Reed) Hart, age 89, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton, of pancreatic cancer. Virginia was born on July 23, 1928, the daughter of Halla “Frank” and Edna (Holtorf) Reed.  She graduated from Lincoln High School in Vinton with the class of 1946.  Virginia was united in marriage to John Hart on June 7, 1947 in Vinton.   She attended Iowa State Teachers College and taught 8th grade physical science in Vinton for many years.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree from UNI in 1967.  She enjoyed teaching very much and often stated how much...

Mark Leckband officiating.  Interment will be in the Garrison Cemetery with military rites conducted by the George G.
