The USDA and Pheasants Forever will be hosting a Monarch and Pollinator Habitat Field day. Anyone interested in prairie habitat is welcome. We will be covering topics such as establishing native species, converting low quality habitat to high quality pollinator habitat, establishment maintenance, long-term maintenance, and mid contract management (MCM). We will also be talking about native plant and weed identification, along with what you can expect from your seeding in the first year, second year, and after it is well established.

Anyone who is interested in learning about techniques for establishing and maintaining your grassland habitat is welcome to attend and refreshments will be provided!  To RSVP, please call Emery Davis at (319) 212-0916.
