Matthew Gerhold of Atkins, Iowa, and Concordia University, Nebraska’s A Cappella choir will sing many musical hits in the return of their annual Broadway at the Boulders show at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 13.
The family-friendly outdoor concert will feature the entire chorus along with student solos and duets. Featured music includes medleys from “Into the Woods,” “My Fair Lady” and “Jersey Boys,” among others.
“This should be a fun evening of some very familiar and well-loved tunes,” said Director of Music Dr. Kurt von Kampen. “It is a bit of a departure from the A Cappella Choir’s usual repertoire, but they have had a great time learning the music and look forward to an exciting evening of music making. Bring lawn chairs and blankets and pray for sunshine!”
The concert will be held outdoors on the Holthus Family Plaza outside Janzow Campus Center on Friday, April 13. The event is free and open to the public. In the event of poor weather, the concert will be held in the Weller Chapel Auditorium.
