The meeting of the North Eden Willing Workers 4-H club was held November 6th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Vinton, Iowa.  The meeting started at 4:10 PM and ended at 5:10 PM.   27 members attended the meeting along with some parents.  Before the meeting, members attended a skating party and officer training. Members from the club were thanked for helping at the Kacena’s Pumpkin Farm in mid October.  A reminder was given that 4-her’s need to be enrolled by November 30 in order to participate in the 2016-2017 year.  Some members talked about a recent trip to the Grout Museum in Waterloo.  Christmas party ideas for a trampoline park were also discussed.  The club will be caroling at Windsor Manor in Vinton in December.  4-her’s that would like to design a new club t-shirt need to have the drawings done as soon as possible.  Our community service project is making rugs for the homeless people, more plastic bags are needed, as it takes 1000 bags to create a rug.  Dates for the February meeting were discussed as well.  Members participated in a drawing activity led by Sydney Walton and Sammie Lundvall.  Presentations were given by Ashlie Meyer on How To Make a Plastic Bag Rug, Tess LIllibridge on model cattails, Carli Lang on how to make a grilled cheese sandwich and Morgan Lang on an edible water bottle.  Members enjoyed an ice cream and pizza party due to the high numbers in attendance at the end of the year awards ceremony.  The 4-H meeting was adjourned with the 4H pledge.
