New business included discussing the changes in 4-H with clubs becoming Chartered and our club has a large amount in our account at this time. A motion was made and seconded about buying 5 recycling containers for the fairgrounds as a way to support the community, especially the fair and spend down some of the money in our club. The club voted against donating something for the silent auction. A motion was made about giving $5 to active club members for lunch at the fair. The motion was amended to give $10 instead and was seconded. Other new business included record books due September 1st to leaders and project entries due by June 18th. The meeting ended with sign-ups for garbage pick-up and dairy booth shifts. Several reminders were given about fair from entry times to check out times. The meeting was adjourned with the 4-H pledge.
