If you’re looking for a cheap thrill for Mom for Mothers Day, Center Point Friends of the Library has a deal for you: two days of the traditional Used Book Sale and the last chance at the traditional prices— 50 cents for hardcovers, 25 for paperbacks.

After Mothers Day used book prices in the Friends book sale room and at future used book sales will double.

The bargain sale (Moms love bargains.) is Friday May 12 from 2-7 and Saturday May 13 from 9-3 in the basement community room of the Andersen Center Point Library.

Books will be $5 for all you want from 2-3 Saturday.

A limited number of used Library computers will be sold for $30 complete beginning Friday.

Friends put the frosting on the cake of Book Sale plans at its May meeting, appropriately, since there will be a bake sale on Saturday morning with coffee and goodies to enjoy while you browse or to take home to save Mom slaving over a hot oven.

Finishing touches were also put on plans for the silent auction featuring a crazy quilt donated and completed by Friends members.
