I am one that sits back and pondered this whole “Women’s Movement.”
There’s been embarrassing hats, and even more embarrassing costumes, women declaring they are “nasty women” and marches throughout the year.
I’m appalled and embarrassed by all of it.
Mostly because I’m one that wishes our society had a little class, no I really wish we had a LOT of class, but apparently we don’t.
So far, in my opinion, watching Ashley Judd get up and declare that she’s a “nasssty woman” makes me think of a snake as she’s hissing “naaaasssty” and I’m not inclined to see any more of her movies.
I know, I’ll hear the line “they have a right to share their opinion.”
When they do, it give me a new opinion of them, usually one that doesn’t sit well.
I’ve seen these mobs declare that they aren’t going to do anything around the house while they go protest and their men stand behind them…of course, what choice do they have? After all, you’ve heard, “happy wife, happy life” although the women out there screaming and carrying on never look very happy.
The latest thing that has me just sitting back and chuckling, is, well, Hillary again.
Recapping: she lost the last election and has done nothing but whine about it, blame everything and everyone else, and then write a book about it.
Not at all like a strong woman would do.
A strong woman would get up, dust herself off, try to figure out “what happened” and quit blaming the rest of the world.
But when you whine, if you are Hillary, your former bosses wife runs in to join you.
Michelle Obama said in defense of Hillary, “What does it mean for us as women that we look at those two candidates, as women, and many of us said, that guy, he’s better for me, his voice is more true to me,” Obama said. “Well, to me that just says you don’t like your voice. You like the thing you’re told to like.”
Hillary perked up and got on that bandwagon really fast!
Hillary took it further. She said, “[Democrats] do not do well with white men, and we don’t do well with married, white women. And part of that is an identification with the Republican Party, and a sort of ongoing pressure to vote the way that your husband, your boss, your son, whoever, believes you should.”
I have to admit, I roared with laughter on this one.
I did NOT vote like Dean this last election, and if anything, I was campaigning harder than he was for the way I voted.
But hey, I’m just a lowly news gal, what do I know?
I have to admit, Hillary has outdone herself again.
She just can’t seem to help herself.
She’s stepping in it again and doesn’t even see it.
I have no idea if you’re paying attention, but Andrew Cuomo is running for Governor of New York, again.
What you probably haven’t heard is that Cynthia Nixon, an avid Hillary supporter has also thrown her, bonnet into the ring too.
That SHOULD bring every democrat woman out of the woodwork to support her.
But not so fast.
Apparently, Bill Clinton has told Hillary to vote for Andrew.
Yep, she endorsed a guy over a girl running for the same position.
If you will recall, Hillary was there cackling next to Former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright when she introduced presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton at a rally in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Albright said to the voters, “you have to help” and that “there’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help each other.”
I don’t know, call me stupid, but I don’t know what to believe.
Are women really out to support each other? Nah.
Do we really think women are better at every job than a guy? Nope.
If we have a choice are we going to vote for the woman over the man?
So women out there running, don’t count on Hillary to back you up, Bill’s telling her how to vote.
Don’t mind me, I’ll just be here eating my popcorn and watching the show.
