Troy Hanus compiled a QB rating of 412.8.
Koby Alpers compiled 148 receiving yards, scoring on passes of 58 and 43 yards.
Juniors Kaleb Roach and Brayden Grosse each rushed for more than 100 yards.
The Union offense compiled just under 500 yards on 41 plays, a 12-yard-per play average.
And yet, with all of these great offensive numbers, Head Coach Joe Hadachek offered a two-word explanation for Union’s win in its home opener and district opener vs. Monticello on Friday.
“Stingy defense,” said the coach.
The Panthers had scored 83 points in its first two games. Union held them to zero. The panthers never made it inside the Union 20.
