Belle Plaine is buckling up for the premier of, "Park It!" the play. The production will be at the Belle Plaine Longfellow Auditorium, May 6 at 2:00 pm.

The intergenerational cast includes Belle Plaine students and several area adults. The comedy is set in 1965 and is based on stories that former area students and educators contributed to the book, "Park It!"

The collection of humorous, but sometimes hair-raising, anecdotes covers 30 years in the drivers education car with former Belle Plaine teacher Wallace Winkie.

Admission to the performance is free, but donations will be accepted for the Belle Plaine Community Schools Drama Club. Refreshments will be available. For more information, visit our Facebook event page or website (parkitvirtualmuseum.com) or call 319-434-2079.
