Waneta Mae Lint

Waneta Mae Lint, age 90, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at her Garrison home with her family by her side.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, April, 30, 2024 at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Garrison, with Rev Adam Baumann officiating.  Interment will be held at the Garrison Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until service time at the church on Tuesday.

Ethelyn "Mozelle" Davis

Ethelyn "Mozelle" Davis, 98, passed away August 22, 2023, near her family, in Mercer Island, WA. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Van Steenhuyse-Teahen Funeral Home, Vinton. Officiant will be Rev. Roger Grandia from Westminster Presbyterian Church, Cedar Rapids. Inurnment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Vinton.Mozelle was born October 11, 1924, in Pike, TX, the daughter of Merrell and Minnie (Freeman) Curtis.

Linda Rouse

Linda Rouse, 77, of VInton, was lovingly surrounded by family when she passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Virginia Gay Hospital, Vinton, following a short illness.  Per Linda’s wishes, there will be no services.  Van Steenhuyse-Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.Linda was born January 7, 1947 in Vinton, the daughter of Russell and Irene (Conklin) Cashman.

Irene Hannah Elizabeth Fehr Clough, 104, of Dysart, went home to be with her Savior on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Sunrise Hill Assisted Living in Traer. A Public Graveside Service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Dysart Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11:00 AM at Zion Lutheran Church in Dysart with a luncheon and time of sharing to follow at the church.

Mary Nell Paquette

Mary Nell Paquette passed away peacefully on April 18, 2024, in Battle Creek, MI, surrounded by her family. Born on February 6, 1939, in Vinton, Iowa, to Walter and Annabelle (Weist) Heineman, Mary's life was devoted to her family and community, woven with the joy she found in socializing and her various interests.Mary grew up on the family farm near Garrison, Iowa.

Brian "Butch" Kramer

Brian "Butch" Kramer, 82, of Center Point, Iowa, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha, Iowa. There will be no service per Butch's wishes. The family will host a Celebration of Life on June 3, 2024, 3 – 7 p.m. at the Center Point Community Center (below the library) at 720 Main St. All family and friends are invited to gather and share "Butch" stories.

Timothy Patrick Cook, aka "Cookie"

Timothy Patrick Cook, aka "Cookie," 63, of Cedar Rapids passed peacefully at home on April 12, 2024 following a long battle with several illnesses. He was born in Cedar Rapids in 1960 to Joe and Margaret Cook and attended St. Jude's School before switching to Truman, Taft, and Jefferson High School where he was known for protecting friends from bullies and refusing to let any boys date his sister Janice.
