Events and Activities : It's a Red Carpet experience at the Vinton Public Library March 10

The Vinton Public Library is holding a Red Carpet Party as a fundraiser at the library on March 10th from 5-7pm. We will have big screen TVs airing the celebrity red carpet arrivals to the Academy Awards. McBride Mobile Taps will be outside selling wine and beer, and we will have appetizers inside as well as trivia and movie-themed games.

This event is for anyone 21+, and semi-formal dress is encouraged. No tickets are needed, and free-will donations will be accepted to benefit our 2024 Children's Summer Reading Program. For a $15 donation, you can have a commemorative VPL beer or wine glass to use the day of the event and beyond.

$10 raffle tickets are also on sale for a limo ride. The limo is sponsored in part by Express Limousine of North Liberty. The winner of the raffle wins a 2-hour ride for 8 guests from 3-5pm the day of the event. As a special promotion, we are hiding 10 raffle tickets in our library books each week for our patrons to find and redeem at no cost!
