Linda Triggiani, 72, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids, with a visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at National Cemetery in Vining, Iowa. All guests are respectfully requested to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Linda was born on April 14, 1948, in Vinton, Iowa, the daughter of Edward and Mary (Jesina) Kaufman. In 1966, she graduated from Benton Community School and went on to attend the Paris Academy of Beauty. Linda was united in marriage to Terry Don Triggiani on Nov. 14, 1981, in Cedar Rapids. She worked briefly as a beautician and later worked in the cafeteria at Quaker Oats. Linda also worked at MCI, setting up internal conference calling. She enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Linda's dog Toby was her world.
Survivors include her children, Shelly (Dale) Antons of Cedar Rapids and Kelly (Lisa) Ellis of Marion, Iowa; grandchildren, Taylor, Cameron (Erin) and Matthew Guerra, Nikki, Johnny, Nathan, Krista, Terry (Darcy) and Austin (Paige) Ellis, Brooke (Andrew) Ohlen, Sara (Doug) Heider and Rachel and Jonathan Antons; sister, Sharlene Hanson of Cedar Rapids; her best friend, Sally Smith of San Diego, Calif.; and her beloved dog, Toby.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary Kaufman; husband, Terry in 2004; daughter, Kathleen Kuennen; son, Jeff Ellis; and niece, Shannon Sisco.
