Just some of the candy for the Candy Dash at the Benton County Speedway
The Bullring Lil Racer Car Club signed up 87 Lil Racers on a cool, but sunny day. We gave away eight great door prizes and our "Lil Racer of the Week, sponsored by the Pizza Place of Center Point."
The highlight of the evening was the huge candy dash held on the front stretch, with over 1800 pounds of candy! The candy dash each year is organized, collected and spread on the track by Christine Rublack and Jessica Kimm.
MANY volunteers assist with this and donations toward the purchase of the candy. We are grateful to them and Benton County Speedway for holding this event each year! The kids took home bags filled with lots of sweets!
Since next Sunday is Father's Day, the club is deciding on prizes for that important day. See you next Sunday at the Bullring.
