After five months of various struggles from the beginning, Chilangos Restaurant owner has decided to close the doors to the business. Michael Gonzales said that he wanted to thank the community for their support, and that he said that he has enjoyed his time here.
He said that the community has been wonderful to work in and he has appreciated all of the support.
Gonzales has been working here while keeping his other adventure going in Cedar Rapids at Don Miguel Tienda Mexican Restaurant on Westdale Dr. SW. He explained that he has been stretching himself too thin trying to run both restaurants.
There are currently discussions to have the location open again under new management later this year.
