The Center Point Historical Society is celebrating Valentine's Day with a free-to-the-public chocolate festival party at the Depot Museum, 700 E. Washington St., from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, February 10.
The "Chocolate Love" party will have a chocolate fountain, a unique kissing booth, assorted chocolate
goodies, and a hot chocolate bar.
The 2024 Historical Society theme is natural history. Among new exhibits, there will be a Valentine's Day
display honoring the Monarch butterfly, fondly believed to start the migration north from Mexico to Iowa
on February 14
