Andrea Townsley, Principal at Tilford Elementary spoke with me concerning the amazing amount of cereal collected by the staff and students at Tilford last month.

Each month the students have a goal of collecting a certain amount of "Positive Behavior" tickets. the goal for February was for the students to collect 6,000 tickets for their good behavior. The students are recognized for being safe, responsible and respectful.

When they met their goal they created "Cereal Box Dominos" which sounds exactly like what it is. The staff and students donated 472 boxes of cereal in a week for the event.

200 boxes of cereal were donated to the Wesley Mobile Food Pantry Vinton at Wesley United Methodist Church, and the remainder of the cereal went to the Benton County Food Pantry.

Congratulations Tilford Elementary on such a great accomplishment!
