Sports : Vinton-Shellsburg's Lessig earns a place at State

The Vinton-Shellsburg Boys Bowling team completed yesterday to move onto the state tournament. We gave it everything we had, but the Clark High School squad took home 1st Place.

Our Vinton Shellsburg boys finished second as a team and Vann Lessig finished in 3rd place to earn his spot at State.

We are so proud of all our boys for being great young adults even in when things don't fall into place as they hoped. Second place did not come easy but they did great!
