The Vinton Veterinary Clinic, located at 305 B Ave. caught fire at about 3:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

A statement released by the clinic said, "We were called by the Vinton Police at 4:00 this morning, notifying us of a fire in the building behind the clinic. A neighbor noticed the fire and contacted officials.

The fire has not affected any services that are provided by Dr. Wilson and his staff.

We would like to thank the Vinton firefighters for their prompt response."

The fire was contained in the back structure that runs along the alley.

Fortunately, there were no animals nor people injured in the fire.

The building was a complete loss.
