The Benton County Board of Supervisors is accepting applications for the Benton County Veterans Affairs Commission. This is a three-member commission that provides guidance and oversees operations of the Benton County Veterans Affairs Department. This position is a 3-year term and does require an applicant to be a veteran. Any veteran interested in this position will be filling this seat until the end of the current term which is June 30, 2024. After this term the veteran applying for this commission may be reappointed. This is a paid position with potential for mileage reimbursement. Benton County appreciates diversity in these appointments and welcomes all applicants at least 18 years of age or older.
