Bright's Toys and More opens up shop in Vinton

Located at 314 North K Ave. (the old Bright's Piano Building), in Vinton, is a new store.called, "Bright's Toys and More"  The store is offering toys and household items, and currently only accepts cash.

I remember the evening of the downtown fire. Thinking that those old buildings were tough, they were brick, it wouldn't be too bad...and then we all watched in horror as the fire continued to spread.

Karrick resumes antique, home decor business after fire

The February fire that destroyed Clingman Pharmacy and other downtown businesses was also the end of one era for Colleen Karrick, who oversaw the antique and home decor area of that business.
