Wilfred Dean Suchy

Wilfred Dean Suchy was born June 28, 1936 in Belle Plaine, Iowa to Milo and Alice (Viktora) Suchy.  He was the second of six children, two brothers and three sisters.  He grew up near Elberon on the family farm working alongside his parents and siblings.Wilfred attended a one room schoolhouse near their home where his mother taught for part of his school years.

Larry W. Lutz, 83, formerly of Van Horne and Guttenberg, passed away Jan. 16, 2022. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 2900 Hoover Ave., Ames, Iowa. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the Mass at the church. The Mass will be livestreamed and a link will be available on the Tribute Wall of Larry's obituary on the Adams Funeral Home website.

Harley Keith Noe, 88, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Monday, Jan. 17, 2022, at UnityPoint Transitional Center in Hiawatha, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at Zion Lutheran Church, Hiawatha. Burial with military honors: Garrison Cemetery, Garrison, Iowa. June Ella Mae (Koehn) Eckhart, age 93, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at English Valley Care Center in North English, where she had been a resident since 2012.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, January 21, 2022 at Salem United Methodist Church in Van Horne.  Interment will be held at Salem Cemetery, rural Van Horne.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until service time at the church.

Judith “Judy” (Atwood) Reedy

Judith “Judy” (Atwood) Reedy, age 65, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. No public funeral services are planned at this time. Judy was born, on June 17, 1956 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Jerry and Jean (Moneypenny) Atwood.  She graduated from Cedar Rapids Jefferson High School in 1974.

Doris A. Holliday

Doris A. Holliday, of Midlothian, Va., passed away peacefully on December 30, 2021. Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1929, Doris was the third of four daughters of Warren and Ethel Pangborn. Growing up on a century-family farm in Shellsburg, Iowa, Doris graduated from Shellsburg High School in 1946 and then Iowa State University in 1950, majoring in Home Economics.

Raymond Joseph Hugenel, 70, of Marion, Iowa, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Travis James Rieck, 38, of Palo, Iowa, passed away at UnityPoint-St. Luke's Hospital on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.A visitation will be held at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday, Jan. 17, 2022, from 4 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the New Covenant Bible Church on Tuesday, Jan. 18, at 1:30 p.m. with pastors Jay Haugh and Mark Forstrom officiating.
