Glenn John Frederich Drahn, 95, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away May 6, 2025 at the Belle Plaine Specialty Care, Belle Plaine, IA.Glenn was born December 31, 1929 to Glender Arthur and Irene Anne (Williamson) Drahn in Monona, IA. He graduated from Elkader High School, class of 1947. On July 10, 1949 Glenn was united in marriage to Elaine Julia Broessel at the United Methodist Church, Monona, IA.

Janice Mary Duncalf

Janice Mary Duncalf, 86, of Newhall, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 4, 2025.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 12, 2025, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Newhall with Father Jacob Dunne officiating. The family will greet friends at the church from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.

Bertha M. (Motto) Pohlmann, age 90, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, May 4th, 2025.Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Vinton with Rev. Stephen K. Preus officiating.  A reception will follow at the church.  Interment will be at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, with full military honors, at 1:15 PM.

Hopkins, 85, of Brandon, IA, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at the Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton, IA.Annette was born on January 27, 1940, in Iowa City, IA, the daughter of Gilbert L. and Fay O. David Lee Fisher

David Lee Fisher, 82, passed away, Monday, April 28, 2025, at St. Lukes Hospital, Cedar Rapids. No service will be held. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, assisted the family. David was born December 14, 1942, in Belle Plaine, Iowa, the son of Clifford and Blanche (Drahos) Fisher. He graduated from Belle Plaine High School and served his country honorably in the United States Navy on the USS Monticello during Vietnam.

Jones, 77, of Sheboygan, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025, at the St. Luke’s Transitional Care Center, Cedar Rapids. Celene was born on July 12, 1947 in Sheboygan, WI, the daughter of Victor and Antoinette (Rottell) Menzer. She graduated from Sheboygan North High School. On April 28, 1973 she married Jan Arden Jones at St. Luke United Methodist Church in Sheboygan.

Libbie Mae Dvorak, 93 of Chelsea, IA passed away Monday, April 28, 2025 at Sunny Hill Care Center, Tama, IA. Memorial services are 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2025, at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service, Belle Plaine, with Deacon Joe Behounek officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Stayskal Cemetery, Chelsea, IA.

Marlin (Marlie) Albert Greiner, 79, passed away on April 28th, 2025. A steward of unwavering faith, a dedicated farmer, and a man whose generosity knew no bounds, Marlie lived his life in service to others.Marlie was born on October 11, 1945, in Washington, IA to Leonard and Mary Greiner. He graduated from Keota High School in 1963 and enlisted in the army reserves.
