Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.

Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse (regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County. Please call 319-472-4761 for more information about services or to reserve a table for groups of 3c or more.

Each month the 4th St Diner has a special day set aside to celebrate birthdays for that month. It is always scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month. Anyone having a birthday for that particular month is encouraged to make a reservation for themselves and any guests they would like to celebrate with. The names of all birthday celebrants who have made a reservation for the Birthday Table are entered into the door prize drawing. We currently have two door prizes scheduled for each month. The first is $5 in Vinton Unlimited Value Dollars generously donated by Vinton Unlimited. The second is a gift certificate for a free 4th Street Diner meal. Reservations for the Birthday Dinner table can be made by calling 472-4761. Reservations need to be made by 10:00 AM on the day of the celebration.

The 4th Street Diner meal on Sunday, July 28th, will be Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Broccoli/Cheese Sauce, Mixed Green Salad, Peach Crisp, WW Bread, Milk.

On Monday, June 10th, there were 4 tables of Pepper Cards played. First place went to Evelyn Greenwood with 278 points. Patty McKenna won 2nd place with 265 points. There was a tie for third place between Bernadine Barr and Merle Roths with 252 points. After the games, refreshments were served by Card Club. Beverages were provided by HACAP.

On Tuesday, June 11th, we celebrated the June birthdays. Those honored for having birthdays were Jon Mick, Nancy Long, and Dora Mae Coleman. Jon Mick was the winner of the free meal.

On Wednesday, June 12th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Maureen Haisman was the volunteer caller. George Eckhart handpicked the games. Game one was an Upside Down Stair Case with JoAnn Roster winning. Game two was a 9-Pack with Mae Wilhelmi winning. Game three was the Letter “M” with Mae Wilhelmi winning. Game four was Wild Number Three Bingos with JoAnn Roster as the winner. Mae Wilhelmi won game five with Blackout.

On Thursday, June 13th, the activity of the day was 10-Cent Bingo. Vickie Holst was the volunteer caller. The Sunny Side of 60 Group handpicked the games. Game one was a Picture Frame with JoAnn Roster and Dorothy Sloan winning. Game two was a Flag with Maybeth Graham winning. Game three was the Letter “X” with Annie Hopkins and Geri Shaffer winning. Game four was the Letter “T” with Greta Geiken winning. Marion Isbell and JoAnn Roster won game five with Blackout.

On Friday, June 14th, there 4 tables of 500 Cards played. Geri Shaffer won 1st place with 4,010 points. Merle Roths won 2nd place with 3,560 points. Greta Geiken won 3rd place with 2,700 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by the Card Club. HACAP provided the beverages.

On Monday, June 17th, there were 4 tables of Pepper Card played. Bev Bearbower won 1st Place with 330 points. Merle Roths won 2nd place with 288 points. Leroy Weiser and Bill Milne tied for 3rd place with 265 points. Helen Pardy brought cookies to share and donated cards. Refreshments were provided by Card Club and beverages provided by HACAP.

On Tuesday, June 18th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Maureen Haisman was the volunteer caller. Game one was a Diamond with Faye Goodell winning. Game two was a 9-Pack with JoAnn Roster winning. Game three was Wild Number Three Bingos with Greta Geiken as the winner. Game four was Frame the Free and Four Corners with Greta Geiken winning. JoAnn Roster won game five with Blackout.

On Wednesday, June 19th, Judy Mehlert provided the afternoon musical entertainment.

On Thursday, June 20th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo.

On Friday, June 21st, there were 5 tables of 500 played. Don Sleken won 1st place with 3,920 points. Darlene Peters won 2nd place with 3,700 points. Bill Milne won 3rd place with 3,140 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by Card Club. Beverages were provided by HACAP.
