A choice of salads is available on the buffet. Everyone is WELCOME!

Suggested contribution for individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse (regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for their meal. Carryout meals are available.

Please call us to cancel or order a Home Delivered Meal by 10:00 AM daily! We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn.

The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County. Please call 319-472-4761 for more information about services or to reserve a table for groups of 3 or more.

The meal on Sunday, July 4th, will be Roast Turkey, Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Mixed Vegetables, Lime Pear Jello, Apple Raisin Crisp, Milk.

On Monday, May 17th, there were four tables of Pepper Cards played. Fern Lewis won 1st place with 271 points. Dora Vogt took 2nd place with 253 points. Frances Kelly won 3rd place with 251 points. HACAP furnished beverages and other refreshments were provided by the card club.

On Tuesday, May 18th, the activity of the day was 10-Cent Bingo with the games being handpicked by Verda Haerther. The caller was Evelyn Greenwood. Game one was the letter "T" and Fern Lewis was the winner. Fern Lewis won game two also, which was a picnic table. Game three was a picture frame and Jeanette Blazicek was the winner. Game four was the letter "X" and Greta Geiken won. Fern Lewis and Norma Ellis won game five with blackout.

On Wednesday, May 19th, we welcomed back Marge Goodell. Everyone enjoyed the music by Nancy and the Goodtime Band.

On Thursday, May 20th, the activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The Bingo games of the day were handpicked by Jeanette Blazicek. The volunteer bingo caller was Vickie. Game one was a 9-pack and was won by Faye Goodell. Game two was Frame the card with Faye Goodell also winning. Game three was a flag with JoAnn Roster winning. Game four was four corners and frame the free spot with Fern Lewis and Norma Ellis winning. Bingo ended with Blackout and Faye Goodell winning.

On Friday, May 21st, there were 6 tables of 500 played. Irene Geiger won 1st place with 3,560 points. Burdell Staab won 2nd place with 3,390 points. Greta Geiken and Bud Barr tied for 3rd place with 3,330 points. HACAP furnished beverages and other refreshments were provided by Marlys Finzen and the card club.

On Monday, May 24th, there were 4 tables of Pepper Cards played. Fern Lewis won 1st place with 305 points. Esther Novotny won 2nd place with 266 points. Bernadine Barr won 3rd place with 261 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by Dora Vogt and the card club. Beverages were provided by HACAP.

On Tuesday, May 25th, we recognized the birthdays of Mae Wilhelmi and Esther Rinderknecht this week. The Don Anders Band provided the afternoon entertainment.

On Wednesday, May 26th, we welcomed back Regina Rippel. The activity of the day was 10-Cent Bingo. The caller was Tammy Rine and the games were handpicked by Ruth Wieditz. Game one was a plus sign with Elsie Knaack winning. Game two was wild number 3 bingos with Jean Warner winning. Game three was a 9-pack with Norma Ellis winning. Game four was stairsteps with Marge Goodell and June Slaerno winning. Faye Goodell won Blackout on game five.

On Thursday, May 27th, the activity was 10-Cent Bingo with the games being handpicked by Jacquie Winkler. The bingo caller was Vickie Holst. Game one was wild number 3 bingos with Faye Goodell and Norma Ellis winning. Game two was a baseball with Jacquie Winkler winning. Game three was a 9-pack and won by Norma Ellis. Game four was frame the free spot with 4 corners and Fern Lewis was the winner. Game five was blackout with Faye Goodell, Jeanette Blazicek, and Jacquie Winkler winning.

On Friday, May 28th, there were 4 tables of 500 played. Burdell Staab won 1st place with 4,800 points. Darlene Peter won 2nd place with 4,090 points. Art Corbet won 3rd place with 2,950 points. Refreshments were provided by the Card Club and HACAP furnished beverages.
