Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.
Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse (regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County. Please call 319-472-4761 for more information about services or to reserve a table for groups of 3c or more.
Each month the 4th St Diner has a special day set aside to celebrate birthdays for that month. It is always scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month. Anyone having a birthday for that particular month is encouraged to make a reservation for themselves and any guests they would like to celebrate with. The names of all birthday celebrants who have made a reservation for the Birthday Table are entered into the door prize drawing. We currently have two door prizes scheduled for each month. The first is $5 in Vinton Unlimited Value Dollars generously donated by Vinton Unlimited. The second is a gift certificate for a free 4th Street Diner meal. Reservations for the Birthday Dinner table can be made by calling 472-4761. Reservations need to be made by 10:00 AM on the day of the celebration.

The 4th Street Diner meal on Sunday, September 15th will be Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Broccoli/Cheese Sauce, Mixed Green Salad, Peach Crisp, WW Bread, Milk.
On Monday, July 29th, there were four tables of Pepper Cards were played. First place went to Geri Shaffer with 254 points. Hazel Eastwood won 2nd place with 237 points. Third place went to Leroy Weiser with 224 points. After the games, refreshments were served by Card Club. Beverages were provided by HACAP.
On Tuesday, July 30th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Maureen Haisman was the volunteer caller. Elsie Knaack handpicked the games. Game one was Wild Card Three Bingos with Lorraine Fix winning. Game two was a 9-Pack with Greta Geiken and Evelyn Greenwood winning. Game three was the Letter “X” with Geri Shaffer winning. Game four was Stair Steps with Marvin Witt winning. Marion Isbell won game five with a Blackout.
