A choice of salads is available on the buffet. Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse (regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for their meal. Carryout meals are available. Please call us to cancel or order a Home Delivered Meal by 10:00 AM daily! We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. On Monday, June 14th, the activity of the day was a Pepper Card Party with 5 tables of players. Bill Milne won 1st place with 345 points. Irene Geiger won 2nd place with 293 points. Third place went to Joy Baker with 250 points. On Tuesday, June 15th, the activity of the day was 10-Cent Bingo with the games being handpicked by Clete Friedman. The caller was Evelyn Greenwood. Game one was a flag and Zella Alpers won. Game two was 3 bingos hard way with Faye Goodell and Zella Alpers winning. Game three was a stairstep with Fern Lewis winning. Game four was a baseball and there were four winners: Faye Goodell, Zella Alpers, Elsie Knaack, and JoAnn Roster. Dora Vogt won on game five with blackout. On Wednesday, June 16th, Judy Mehlert provided the afternoon entertainment. On Thursday, June 17th, the activity of the day was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by JoAnn Roster and Vickie Holst was the volunteer caller. Game one was 4 corners frame the free spot with Fern Lewis winning. Game two was a space capsule with Zella Alpers and June Salerno winning. Game three was popeye with Ruth Wieditz winning. Game four was a pyramid with Jeanette Blazicek winning. Greta Geiken and JoAnn Roster went out with blackout on game five. On Friday, June 18th, there were 6 tables of 500 played. Leroy Wieser won 1st place with 4,210 points. Milt Smith won 2nd place with 4,130 points. Merle Roths won 3rd place with 4,030 points. HACAP furnished beverages and other refreshments were provided by the card club. On Monday, June 21st, there were 4 tables of Pepper Cards played. Fern Lewis won 1st place with 278 points. Frances Kelly won 2nd place with 249 points. Geri Shaffer won 3rd place with 245 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by Dora Vogt and the card club. Beverages were provided by HACAP. On Tuesday, June 22nd, the Don Anders Band provided the afternoon entertainment. On Wednesday, June 23rd, the activity of the day was 10-Cent Bingo. The caller was Luanne Dvorak. Game one was frame the card with Elsie Knaack winning. Game two was frame the free and four corners with Mae Wilhelmi winning. Game three was a layer cake with Greta Geiken and Evelyn Greenwood winning. Game four was a 9 pack with Dora Vogt winning. Greta Geiken won Blackout on game five. On Thursday, June 24th, the activity was 10-Cent Bingo with the games being handpicked by Fern Lewis. The bingo caller was Vickie Holst. Game one was a 9 pack with June Salerno winning. Game two was wild number 3 bingos with June Salerno and Marion Isabell winning. Game three was 2 hard ways and won by Ruth Wieditz. Game four was frame the card and Marion Isabell was the winner. Game five was blackout with Delane Kalina and Ruth Wieditz winning. On Friday, June 25th, there were 8 tables of 500 played. Nellie Cobb won 1st place with 4,370 points. Don Burmeister won 2nd place with 3,650 points. Frances Kelly won 3rd place with 3,530 points.
