Business : LaGrange announces plans to add office/school supplies, small appliances

As the Vinton business community adjusts to the impending closing of the local Alco store, many merchants are making some changes.

One of those is LaGrange Pharmacy, where Dan LaGrange would like customers to know what changes they may see in the near future.

"In an effort to better serve the residents of Vinton and the surrounding areas LaGrange Pharmacy is doing some rearranging,” says Dan. “Over the next few weeks LaGrange’s is reducing some electronics merchandise to as much as 50% off. RadioShack and home electronics will continue to be a part of LaGrange’s but will hopefully take up less space.”

The goal, said Dan, is to make more space for other items.

This will free up some space so we are better able to stock some of the items you need every day,” said Dan. “The new space will be filled by expanding the selection of some items such as office and school supplies, healthcare products and toys.”

LaGrange’s will also be adding some additional items such as small kitchen appliances.

“If there are some items you are used to seeing in Vinton and no longer are able to get, let LaGranges know. We are interested in getting those items in stock,” says Dan.
