Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.

Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse (regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for their meal. Carryout meals are available. Please call us to cancel or order a Home Delivered Meal by 10:00 AM daily! We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County. Please call 319-472-4761 for more information about services or to reserve a table for groups of 3 or more.

On Monday, July 12th, the activity of the day was a Pepper Card Party with 4 tables of players. Irene Geiger won 1st place with 333 points. Bernadine Barr won 2nd place with 318 points. Third place went to Esther Novotny with 302 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by the Card Club and HACAP provided the beverages.

On Tuesday, July 13th, we celebrated all the July Birthdays. Thank you to Norma Ells for serving as the Birthday Dinner Hostess. Those celebrating July Birthdays were Thelma Bryant, Kent Stufflebeam, Chris Fiebelkorn, Marge Goodell, Faye Cummings, Phyllis Simnacher, Frieda Davis, Lucille Dolan, and Stuart Gulick. There were also 10 guests in attendance. Chris Fiebelkorn won the door prize of a free meal. Stuart Gulick provided the afternoon entertainment.

On Wednesday, July 14th, the activity of the day was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Jacquie Winkler and Lou Ann Dvorak was the Bingo caller. Game one was stairsteps with Jacquie Winkler winning. Game two was a 12-pack with Ruth Wieditz winning. Game three was 13 numbers with Jacquie Winkler winning. Game four was a baseball with Elsie Knaack winning. Verda Haerther won game five with blackout.

On Thursday, July 15th, the activity of the day was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Jeanette Blazicek. Vickie Holst was the volunteer caller. Game one was a 9-pack with Fern

Lewis winning. Game two was a flag with June Salerno winning. Game three was a big diamond with Fern Lewis winning. Game four was telephone lines with Fern Lewis winning. Zella Alpers won game five with blackout.

On Friday, July 16th, there were 7 tables of 500 played. Leroy Weiser won 1st place with 3,150 points. Elvis Forsyth won 2nd place with 2,720 points. Eva Potthoff won 3rd place with 2,620 points. HACAP furnished beverages and other refreshments were provided by Greta Geiken and the card club.

On Monday, July 19th, the activity of the day was as Pepper Card Party.

On Tuesday, July 20th, the activity of the day was 10-Cent Bingo. Melinda Rice was the volunteer caller and Elsie Knaack handpicked the games. Game one was a 9 pack with Marion Isabell winning. Game two was frame the free spot and 4 corners with Verda Haerther winning. Game three was a telephone pole with Greta Geiken winning. Game four was a picnic table with Verda Haerther winning. Faye Goodell won game five with a blackout.

On Wednesday, July 21st, the afternoon entertainment was provided by Nancy and the Goodtime Band.

On Thursday, July 22nd, the activity was 10-Cent Bingo with the games being handpicked by Delane Kalina and Ruth Wieditz. The bingo caller was Vickie Holst. Game one was a 12-Pack with June Salerno winning. Game two was a space capsule with JoAnn Roster winning. Game three was the letter X and won by Fern Lewis and Jeanette Blazicek. Game four was wild number 3 bingos and Faye Goodell was the winner. Game five was blackout with Faye Goodell and JoAnn Roster winning.

On Friday, July 23rd, there were 6 tables of 500 played. Merle Roth won 1st place with 3,480 points. Evelyn Greenwood won 2nd place with 3,450 points. Milo Cobb won 3rd place with 3,400 points. Refreshments were provided by the Card Club and HACAP furnished beverages.
