Business : IEDA Director to visit Benton County June 17

Benton Development Group will be hosting a visit with Iowa Economic Development Authority Director, Debi Durham, on June 17th. Throughout the day, Dir. Durham will be touring a local business and visiting different communities throughout the county.

The most important stop Durham will make during her visit will be at the Van Horne Community Center. BDG is hosting a luncheon for council members, business representatives, and community members to ask questions related to their community. We expect Durham to also lead a discussion about positioning our rural communities for continued growth.

This is a great opportunity to have questions answered, learn more about economic development and to get involved. While anyone is welcome to attend the luncheon and we are encouraging heavy involvement, we are asking all individuals register for this event.
