Asher Lehman went to the bank with his grandma on Friday, and came home with a cupcake and a $5 bill.
He was one of many people who helped Farmers Savings Bank-Vinton celebrate its 100th anniversary. A line of people waiting for Scratch cupcakes formed at around 10 a.m. in the parking lot. Inside, many people tried their luck at the mini-golf game. Asher was one of the players whose putt landed on a replica bill. He took home a real $5 bill.
The celebration continues; the cupcakes will be available as long as the cupcake supply holds out.
