Business : Breakfast with Branstad: Governor to meet with BDG members in Van Horne June 30

We are excited to announce that Benton Development Group will be hosting a visit with Governor Branstad on June 30th from 8:30am-10:00am at the Van Horne Community Center.  Please join us for a morning of conversation about economic development and networking with local, county and state elected officials as well as community change makers and industry professionals.

The Governor will be addressing attendees about the importance of rural economic development in Iowa's economy.  He will highlight the importance of housing and workforce development initiatives as well as entrepreneurialism; specifically, stating what the State of Iowa can and is doing as it relates to housing and workforce development in small communities. Industry and community leaders are encouraged to attend in order to learn about opportunities to improve rural economic development and how our local priorities fit in to state initiatives.
